Storefront & Themes

Your storefront is the store your customers actually see and shop in. It’s fully built and server-rendered, so pages come ready to view quickly and are friendly to search engines. These overviews explain what the storefront includes, the SEO built into it, how shoppers search and filter, and how theming works today.

Do I have to build my storefront pages myself?

Section titled “Do I have to build my storefront pages myself?”

No. Your storefront is server-rendered and comes fully built — product and collection pages, cart, checkout, search, wishlist, compare, contact, content pages, blog, order tracking and customer account pages are all rendered for you from your catalog, content and settings. See What your storefront includes.

Yes — the admin has a Theme area, with a list and a per-theme screen.

What that area lets you do is not described here step by step, because those steps have not been checked against the screen as it is today. Rather than guess at a click-path, this section stays at the level of how themes work; see Themes.

Because the storefront is server-rendered, pages arrive ready for search engines to read. On top of that CIQRA adds structured data (Product, Article, FAQ), hreflang for international stores, and sitemaps — a strong technical baseline out of the box. See Storefront SEO.

Faceted search is filtered search. On a results or collection page, shoppers narrow a large set of products with filters like category, price and product options such as size or colour, turning a broad list into a short, relevant one. See Search & filtering.

Can shoppers manage their own account on my store?

Section titled “Can shoppers manage their own account on my store?”

Yes. Signed-in shoppers get account pages on the storefront to log in and register, edit their profile and addresses, review their orders, and reach downloads for any digital products they’ve bought. See Storefront customer accounts.

Yes. The storefront includes order tracking so shoppers can see where an order is without emailing you. You manage fulfilment and tracking on your side in Orders.

Does the storefront support content pages and a blog?

Section titled “Does the storefront support content pages and a blog?”

Yes. The content pages and blog posts you author in the admin are rendered on your storefront alongside your catalog. See Content for how to write and publish them.
